iQstor Qualifies QLogic 4Gb FC Switch and HBAs
Newbury Park, CA – February 14, 2006 - iQstor Networks, Inc., a leading developer of intelligent and integrated Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions, today announced that it has qualified the QLogic SANbox® 5600 4Gb Fibre Channel switch and SANblade® 4Gb Fibre Channel (FC) host bus adapters (HBAs) with the recently announced iQ2280, the industry’s first all-in-one 4Gb FC-SATA II storage platform with enterprise level data services software.

The iQ2280 storage platform from iQstor Networks delivers an economical FC to SATA II solution for the small to mid-sized enterprise customers and combines high availability, manageability, data protection and enterprise-level functionality. The iQ2280 Storage System, housed in a 19” 3U rack mountable enclosure, provides 7.5TB of storage capacity and touts a 3 Gb/s disk data transfer rate. To ease support issues while ensuring constant data protection and delivery, all key internal components are hot-swappable with dual active-active storage controllers offering transparent fail-over, 4 x 4Gb/s FC host ports, RAID 0, 1, 1+0, 3, 5, 50, 6 and support for Native Command Queuing (NCQ).
