Quality Manager

Job Description

Our Quality Manager will coordinate all activities required to maintain ISO9000 compliance; provide training to all employees in SPC and other quality and continuous improvement tools; audit, review, and upgrade the effectiveness of the quality system through the use of internal audits, cost of quality reports, customer complaints, corrective actions, etc.; work as a team member with managers toward continuous improvement of production processes and procedures; work with customers to define their quality needs and translate those needs into features that can be improved, controlled and assured by the production and professional services group.

Job Requirements

This position requires several years of quality experience (with a strong exposure to ISO-9000 registration and maintenance), exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, group facilitation skills, the ability to solve problems, and work with minimal supervision. A Bachelor's degree is preferred (engineering, science, manufacturing, management or business). The successful candidate must have previous supervisory experience and be able to deal with diverse work groups and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Management Representative with the ISO 9001/2000 Quality Management System
• Manages the Internal Audit process
• Manages the Nonconforming Material process and performs data analysis
• Manages the Corrective Preventive Action Request process and performs data analysis
• Manages MRB, Receiving Inspection and Final Inspection
• Reviews and approves work and test instructions
• Manages the Calibration System
• Answers customer requests for corrective action
• Writes Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) and approves the suppliers responses.
• Performs capability assessments of strategic suppliers
• Helps with the implementation of new procedures within the company
• Ensure changes to the Quality Management System are documented by either revising the affected documents or reviewing the revised documents

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospecting opportunities with new and existing customers

Job Description

This job will require the candidate to gain a functional understanding of iQstor’s SAN storage sub-systems, architecture, and operating environment quickly. The candidate must have drive and initiative for hardware design projects. The selected candidate will work on the FC SAN and NAS product development under the guidance of the hardware design manager. The ideal candidate should be experienced in the hardware design process and has hands-on experience with hardware design tools, scope and logic analyzers. He/She should know how to optimize the hardware design for speed and features.

Job Requirements

1. At least three years of hardware design experience

The Professional Services Engineer is a presales and post sales technical representative who works with Case Studies to define solutions and troubleshoot issues. The qualified candidate will perform a wide range of job functions that require in depth technical knowledge of iQstor products and a professional demeanor. This support position will be responsible for the following responsibilities within the support structure:

• Processing and tracking all RMA’s for field and QA/DVT/PS lab equipment
• Answering technical questions, duplicating customer problems in the lab, documenting the steps necessary to duplicate the problem, entering the problem or bug into the bug tracking database, and communicating fixes to the customers.
• Go on service calls as an iQstor Field Representative to install or relocate equipment, replace FRU’s or install new software releases.
• Willing to work flexible hours depending on support requirements and available for occasional week-end stand-by duty.
• Must have strong communication skills to interface with customers

A minimum of a BS degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in at least one of the major workstation and server operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and Windows NT/2000/2003) is required. Candidate must possess experience in networking, disk and file system administration knowledge as it applies in a NAS, SAN or mixed environments. Familiarity with storage products, RAID and interfaces such as Fibre Channel and SCSI is a plus.
